Bistro Saison

BISTRO SAISON HAS CHANGED NAMES. WE’LL REVIEW THE NEW RESTAURANT IN ITS LOCATION IN THE NEAR FUTURE.

Near Hamada station you can find a fancy, continental izakaya called ‘Bistro Saison.’ They serve delicious dishes and a variety of wines, alcoholic drinks and soft drinks. This restaurant also serves seasonal fresh fish and vegetables such as sea food marine, sea urchins omelette, and so on. You can check some dishes’ pictures here. They have a special menu now called “Hama-gochi” which features locally grown produce and ingredients all from Hamada. If you order Hama-gochi course, you can have carpaccio, salad, from Hamada city. You can enjoy this special menu by paying 2800 yen per person (To order this menu, you must have at least four people in your dining party. Prior booking is essential.)

Perhaps the restaurant is a little hard to find, so I recommend that you find the Shimane Hamada Washington Hotel Plaza first, and then go to the photo shop called Ayugawa which is behind the Hotel. You’ll see the word PLAZA written on their signboard. The restaurant is on the second floor of the same building as the photo shop.
